Description: World-wide strong cryptography for Netscape
This is Fortify for Netscape, a program that provides world-wide,
unconditional, full strength 128-bit cryptography to users of Netscape
Navigator (v3) and Communicator (v4). It does this by binary patching
 a copy of Netscape.
 .
Note: fortify does not understand the patched Netscape v3 that
package netscape3 installs; you have to to fetch the netscape archive
separately and place it in the directory pointed to by the TMPDIR
environment variable (or /tmp if TMPDIR not defined) before
attempting to install this package. The netscape archive will be
unpacked, fortified and then repacked; after that you will have to
 reinstall the netscape3 package.
You can get the linux packages of netscape via anonymous ftp from
 "ftp.netscape.com" as:
 ftp://ftp.netscape.com/pub/navigator/3.04/shipping/english/unix/linux12/*/
 netscape-v304-export.x86-unknown-linux-elf.tar.gz
 .
Anyway, a program named "fortify.netscape3" is provided in this package,
 you can run it later.

Description: Public key encryption system (International version)
Pretty Good Privacy is general-purpose public key encryption
system written by Philip Zimmerman. It is often used in email
conversations where confidentiality and integrity are important.
 .
It is VERY IMPORTANT that you read the documentation (installed
in /usr/doc/pgp) before attempting to use PGP. If you do not
do so you will probably lose any security you might gain from
PGP, and not even realise that you have lost it.
 .
This version of PGP is the `International' version from Stale
Schumacher. It is somewhat faster, and has more useful features.
However, it does not have a licence for its use of the RSA
cryptosystem, on which some nasty people claim a patent.

This version of PGP is that released by MIT for use in the

RSA public key cryptosystem, but the disadvantages of being
somewhat slower and having fewer helpful features.

also be forwarded over the secure channel.
It is intended as a replacement for rlogin, rsh and rcp, and can be
